An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias such as ventricular fibrillation (VF) and pulseless ventricular tachycardia. It treats them through defibrillation, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm.
Turn on the power. Voice instructions start immediately to guide the operation.
After attaching pads, the AED analyzes ECG. It proceeds only when pads are correctly placed.
Adjustable energy levels (30/70J for children) to avoid heart muscle damage.
If a shock is needed, the button flashes. Press to deliver electrical therapy.
